How we use QuickBooks Online data
Notice for shops that connect QuickBooks® Online to AppointmentJump.
AppointmentJump is an AI phone receptionist for home-service businesses. After you connect QuickBooks® Online in Settings, we import allowlisted people and sales records from the company you select so the receptionist can recognize returning callers and so those people appear in your dashboard. We are not Intuit. We are not endorsed by, sponsored by, or affiliated with Intuit. QuickBooks Online is Intuit's product.
What we ask Intuit for
- Accounting scope only, so we can read active customers and allowlisted sales documents (invoices, payments, sales receipts, and credit memos).
- Company name and currency so we can show which company you connected.
We do not write customers or invoices back to QuickBooks Online. We do not request payroll, bank feeds, tax identifiers, card numbers, or private notes.
How we use that data
QuickBooks Online data is used only to:
- Recognize returning callers and greet them as existing customers.
- Show imported people in your People dashboard, including company and customer since.
- Keep allowlisted profile extras and recent sales headers for CRM display, including fields we may show on a card later.
We do not use this data to serve ads, to train foundation models, or to build unrelated profiles. We do not sell it. Import does not create consent to call, text, or email those people. Texts and review requests stay on the switches and events already in the Service.
What we store
We store encrypted OAuth tokens, the company name, currency, imported people (name, phone, email, address, company, notes we keep), customer since, open balance, lifetime billed, extra phones, bill and ship addresses, website, commercial labels, and recent sales document headers (not a full ledger). We may keep running totals after older lines are dropped. Disconnecting stops new collection. People already in AppointmentJump stay until you delete them.
How to disconnect
In AppointmentJump, open Settings, then Integrations, then QuickBooks Online, and disconnect. You can also end access in your Intuit account. If access is revoked or expired, import and refresh stop.
